Pedro Navarrete started his position as associate vice president of enrollment management and community partnerships at WVC in 2023. 

Navarrete has worked in various leadership roles in higher education. He served simultaneously as the assistant dean of Yakima Valley College's Grandview Campus and interim dean for College and Career Readiness at Yakima Valley College. Before that, he was a director and program coordinator for the YVC Bachelor of Applied Science programs. Prior to returning to Washington, he served as an academic adviser and adjunct at different higher education institutions in Indiana. 

He holds a Master of Science degree from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University.
